International Volleyball Center

The International Volleyball Center project developed an urbanistic and architectural vision for a Mediterranean sports-oriented destination in the coastal municipality of Bibinje, near Zadar. The proposal integrates professional training facilities, hospitality, healthcare, and wellness within a phased masterplan guided by local spatial regulations. Focusing on volleyball while supporting multiple sports, the project combines indoor halls, outdoor courts, swimming pools, regeneration clinics, and hotel programs. Climate, landscape preservation, and year-round usability shaped the design strategy, with over half the site dedicated to green areas. The project positions sports tourism as a catalyst for sustainable local development, economic resilience, and community integration.
